The official transition from Pickaform to AirProcess is now effective. Beyond the name change, the entire platform has been modernized, simplified, and enriched to offer companies a more powerful, faster, and more autonomous environment.
1. A modernized and simplified interface
1.1. A lighter design and clearer navigation
AirProcess adopts a cleaner interface: fewer visual elements, greater readability, and ergonomics designed to reduce daily friction. Navigation is smoother, more logical, and more pleasant. On this topic, evolutions are ongoing, and we systematically take into account all field feedback from our customers!
1.2. An improved UX in every detail
Many micro-corrections have been made (more than 100 in total) to make the experience more comfortable: form adjustments, clearer messages, streamlined actions, smoother transitions… A host of discreet yet essential improvements.
2. New capabilities to create and automate faster
2.1. AI-powered application generation + new ready-to-use templates
AirProcess includes an AI engine capable of generating complete applications from simple descriptions: this engine has been substantially improved, because now you can also use AI to refine in real time the suggestions that the AI gave you (for example by asking to add/remove fields in a particular form), but also by automating the generation of views for your data.
In addition, the app templates system has been improved to directly display the forms present in an app, making it easier to determine what the template contains, and to get started even more easily.
2.2. AI integrated into forms: automatic data extraction and data detection
A form can now read an attached file (PDF, image, document…) and automatically fill in fields thanks to AI. Imagine the simplicity: you attach a PDF purchase order to your form, and the form will auto-fill from the information detected in the document!
A significant time saving, especially for administrative and sales teams.
3. Integrated handwritten PDF signature
AirProcess now allows you to sign your PDFs directly with a handwritten signature (for your purchase orders, delivery notes, contracts, etc.) in just a few seconds.
No need for external tools anymore: everything is centralized on the platform.
Simply click on "Sign the document", and a simple interface opens with signature boxes for each signer, who could sign manually with the mouse, or with a stylus on a tablet. The first use-case we encountered was signing work orders on-site.
4. Calculated fields: new formulas available
The calculation engine evolves with an extended library of formulas, enabling you to create rules that are more powerful, more precise, and more modular according to your business needs. The engine has also been optimized to better support the workload when recalculating values in the database.
5. Multilingual applications: an integrated translation system
AirProcess now includes a complete translation system.
Your apps can be used in multiple languages, with centralized and intuitive text management, and an AI-powered automated translation assistant.
6. Custom login page for your teams
Each company can define a dedicated login page, via a customized URL, to offer its collaborators a more coherent and professional experience: the custom login page lets you choose your logo as well as the colors or the background image of the login page.
7. An integrated professional blog system
AirProcess now includes a complete blog module to manage articles, organize your content, and publish directly from your workspace.
A full article will soon be dedicated to this powerful feature, and could eventually replace professional blogging systems built with WordPress or Ghost CMS.
8. Integration of your external tools into the AirProcess workspace
It is now possible to add links to your other apps directly in the AirProcess workspace.
Your internal tools are accessible in the same place, without changing environments.
A major advance: total sovereignty over the infrastructure
The platform remains hosted in France, but now migrates to a 100% French infrastructure thanks to Scaleway.
As a reminder, our platform is composed of 3 essential elements:
- web servers
- file servers
- database servers
The last two services were already hosted by ScaleWay, but not the web servers: although hosted in France, they were still running on Heroku VMs.
We who love to talk about sovereignty, why didn’t we migrate earlier?
It's very simple: the web servers merely pass data in transit, and they are also encrypted. In plain terms, this has absolutely no impact on the sovereignty of your data. Your data, however, are indeed hosted on French services, in France. This, however, has an impact on the sovereignty of our infrastructure.
Why did we switch from Heroku to ScaleWay?
Several reasons:
- full control of the technical chain
- consistency of hosting: you can administer everything from a single platform, it's simpler
- proximity of services: the web servers are now physically next to the files and databases, for better performance
- 100% French across the entire chain!
AirProcess thus becomes one of the few no-code platforms entirely French, in development as well as hosting.
